The Last War 3v3 Arena challenge pits you against a similar opponent ranking. You will build your 3 squads and attack the defenders preset squads.

Attackers have the advantage. They can organize the lineup of the squads. You must win 2 out of 3.

🛡 Defense: You want to set only 2 of your squads up to be as close as possible to each other in power. Most players will have a disproportionately strong 1st squad and a very weak 3rd squad. By distributing your power in only 2 squads, you will increase your opportunity to win 2 out of three rounds.

Our first two squads are evenly matched in power. Our third squad doesn’t really matter:

🔥Attack: You only need two (2) strong squads configured. As a free-to-play commander, you won’t be able to configure 3 strong squads most likely. If you are matched against a really weak player, then configuring 3 squads that overpower all your opponents squads will result in a small bonus. This is going to be your first few matches.

In the following screenshot, our squads are configured with an approximate balance in power. While great for defense, it’s not optimized to win 2 of 3 matches:

Finally, do not use all your attacks at once! Use as many as you can win. Once you start losing, back off. Do this right after reset. Revisit it before next reset. If you have dropped rank, then attack until you start losing again.
