What is Marshall Guard?
Marshall Guard, known as Alliance Exercise in weeks 2-4, is a series of tanks that you must rally to “defeat”.
There are 5 levels of rewards. “Defeating” Marshall is when it’s at level 5. Sending rallies after that is just to max out your individual rewards. Otherwise, you ware wasting troops.
Marshall Guard also has levels of difficulty. When you “set” Marshall, you will select this difficulty. You must have beaten the current difficulty level to advance.
Marshall Guard Stage 1: Prep Stage
The first stage is called Prep Stage. You can donate wrenches that you get from daily tasks. The wrenches make it easier to defeat, with 3 levels of buffs.
NOTE: Do not donate to the first level of Marshall Guard until you assess if your alliance can defeat it!
You will need to get a feel of when to use your wrenches depending on how easy you defeat the level you have chosen. Communicate with your alliance on wrench donations.
- Lasts ~24 hours, ending at reset the next day
- Donating wrenches makes the Marshall Guard easier to defeat

You you click on Marshall, you can click the “wrench icon” to donate:

Marshall Guard: Battle Stage
You fight Marshall Guard by clicking on the tanks, then clicking on the “attack icon”, and creating a rally.
Last War makes it pretty easy to understand how to fight Marshall. But Last War has a lot of strategy involved to maximize damage output.
These tanks are Marshall Guard in battle stage:

Click the red flag (rally icon) to initiate a rally:

Once you initiate a rally, you will see it listed with other rallies. The rallies take 3 minutes, plus travel there from your base.
If someone joins your rally that is far from your base, your total rally time increases. You want to boot these players from your rallies.
Now, you will want to use your weakest squad for rallies. Use your other stronger squads to join rallies. Doing this maximizes the number of times your strong squads can hit Marshall. If you use your strongest squad to rally, the most you can do is 9 strikes. You can get more if you join the quickest rallies.
Finally, when Marshall Guard is being ran, police your rallies for slow players!

Marshall Guard: Wait Stage
Once Marshall Guard has been defeated, you may set him after reset. If you defeat him at 30 minutes before reset, you can then set him after the next reset. Each cycle of Marshall Guard is two days.
Marshall Guard Email:
❌ No rallies other than Marshall!!! ❌
✅ Always have your own Marshall rally started with your weakest squad.
✅ Only send your 1st squad in an R4's rally.
✅ Send all of your squads, at the same time, to hit Marshall.
⚠️ Kick people whose march time is greater than rally departure time.
❌ Don't start rallies if they will not make it to Marshall before the end of the event. ❌
➡️ Hit the help button, always. ⬅️
✅ The topmost rally is the one you join if you’re march is less than the time of the rally departure. Otherwise, go to the next one.
✅ Do nothing else but Marshall Guard! You must always be policing your rallies. Keep the slow people that arrive after the rally departure time. Each rally is 3 minutes. If it’s longer than that, kick the slowest player.
