R4/R5 Elected Positions

As it pertains, I inherited R5. I have R4s in position. I want to reserve the right to retain 4 indivduals, at a minimum, that can advise me and help guide this process. I also want to make good on previous promises that Bobby ( our founder) made. With that said…

All R4 positions are grandfathered. That means that R4s that hold their positions currently, retain their positions.

We have 2 R4 positions currently that are now up for contention. Those positions, along with all positions, up to 4 retained positions by my appointment, are up for general vote. I reserve the right to 4 R4 positions.

When R4 positions become vacant, those positions are up for general vote. I reserve 4 positions to lifetime appointment.

The voting process for these elected R4 positions will be weekly. The terms of office are the number of elected R4 positions by week. 6 elected positions means the term is 6 weeks. Elections will be held beginning Tuesday and ending Wednesday at or around reset.

If an R4 member leaves, a nomination will be held for 24 hours immediately following the vacancy with a vote immediately after. The elected member will retain the position for the remaining term and the next term.

If you have objections to this, please discuss them in the general chat. We can strike and debate the manner in which this is conducted.

Amendment 1: R4s who leave and members who leave and recruit

R4s who leave the alliance during their tenure are not eligible for 20 weeks to run again upon rejoining. This is retroactive.

Any member who leaves and actively recruits members to a new alliance are not eligible to join the alliance.

Exceptions must be passed by unanimous vote from leadership.

Passed by Alliance general vote on October 25th, 2025:

Amendment 2: R5 Elections

R5 elections shall be held every 20 weeks. All nominees must be voted on by a two-thirds majority vote of all R4s. There are no absent votes. A quorum, in this case, is 10. The R5 vote does not count. The R5 approved nominees are then voted on by the entire alliance as a popular vote.

Basic Responsibilities

The responsibilities of running the alliance is in the hands of the R4 elected body. This includes:

  • Player Training
  • War Strategy
  • Executive decisions pertaining to the continuation of the Alliance
    • Expelling NAP violators
    • Black balling bad actors
    • Preventing wars
  • Daily Alliance activities
    • Marshall Guard
    • Zombie Siege
    • Train conductor selection
  • Routine training Posts and Emails
  • Alliance Growth/Combat strategy
    • Do we shield and grow? Do we fight?
    • Are we calling all out on Versus?
    • Participation level in Warzone?

The R5 position is the primary Administrator position. This position has “supreme” authority over elected R4s and the alliance. The game’s general flaw is this. The breakdown of alliances typically occurs here. R5s get power hungry. They become dictators. They run all aspects of the alliance. BUT, an alliance will disband and go find other homes. That is a major flaw. To overcome this, the correct approach is that the R5 has no authority over the alliance operations. Rather, the R5 position is an administrative position that appoints elected members into office. The R4s are your real authority. With this structure, an alliance can operate and survive in the long-term (whale alliances follow a different strategy. Those who pay big money tell the “poors” what to do).

The R5 should ensure that the democratic process is followed. They should be a master of the Alliance wishes, which is expressed in the bylaws that the Alliance body has voted on.

The R5 should ensure that all elections are ran fairly and justly.

The R5 should ensure that the R4s are empowered and understand how to do their job.
