Bugs has led us through the roadmap of invading server 1806 and we have progressed to holding a level 4 stronghold on that server. He has forged alliances, notably DADs (1800) and IMPL (1800).

We are getting ready to begin server wars and it will be all hands on deck. Bugs is unofficially the “Cintus”. We must hold an election to establish the authority and then appoint by R4 vote.

I took over this alliance in a heated and tumultuous time. We shifted leadership back-and-forth. Things were done in an “old guard”, nepotistic way. We were teetering on implosion. We did implode, almost. We are here and we are a great alliance. I feel honored that my experiment in the human condition worked. To finally see that through, I will step aside next week and run an R5 election; my name will not be on the ballot. I will most definitely be here. It is the ultimate experiment to see people organize under fairness. This experiment is a true success!

The best suited– and well earned R5– is Bugs. He will be running unopposed by me. Of course, I will challenge him to a good ol fashion duel down the road. Today, it is well deserved!

Although the R5 position is up for vote, they must first be vetted by the R4s by a two-thirds majority vote. I will be striking that in the bylaws this week (along with the Cintus position). Our R4s will be mainly looking for R5s that uphold our current system of Democracy, our fairness to a mainly F2P alliance, and overall goofy azz/professionalism — think mullet guys and gals. These are the criteria to which we would want them to vette on.

I will go ahead and run elections for 3 this week. Dippsie, Fallen, and Tony. They will hit back-to-back, along with amendments to the bylaws. I will seek an R4 position and assume the role of secretary/troll.

Summary

We have many elections to get through. We have many bylaws to see. We have some major changes that I think will lead us in a direction of “rotation, not stagnation”.
