Explore the Vision Behind SCAM Transition
I have made a decision personally to move SCAM towards a Democratic Republic. We endeavor to create an Alliance that any active member can join leadership and ALL have a voice.

Prepare for “the suck”
Last War is a game of strategy. Once you get the hang of upgrades, you reach level 20. Everything takes weeks to upgrade. The only real excitement is 1 to 2 hours on Friday and Saturday plus 30 minutes at reset.
At around week 8, the reality is, the game is boring if all you do is log in at reset, farm resources, setup any builds that finished (which happens to be like 3-20 days per build), hit the chat to mess around, log out. If you are not chatty, 30 minutes. You have 30 minutes of Desert Storm on Friday. You get 10-30 minutes of Winter Storm on Friday. Marshall Guard every other day. That is the reality of this game.
Seasons will give more content to game play. But let’s face it. A majority of the players that log in 4+ hours a day aren’t here to stare at a timer that takes 10 days to complete. They want to be involved.
I was one of these players on a previous server. There is no opportunity but kiss the ass of the Alliance Leader. That sucks.
Elections– ACTUAL Elections no BS
By design, the Alliance Leader has full control. But is this the greatest setup? In my opinion, I wouldn’t play that game. I chose not to. It’s boring. Egotistical. Something I do not subscribe to. The R4s are selected by nepotism and cronyism. Be my ass kisser or kick rocks!
I want to remove this. We are going to hold fair, open elections to anybody on the Alliance roster. There will be no gating. Anybody who wants to run– it is available to you.
Elections Are Simple, Really
- Monday: Text Alliance Announcement for nominees.
- Tuesday: Poll Alliance for votes on R4 position.
- Wednesday: Install new R4.
Office Terms
Office terms are stacked and according to how many elected R4 positions there are. For example:
Assume 6 elected R4 positions…
The term is 6 weeks.
- Week 1: Vote for position 1
- Week 2: Vote for position 2
- Week 3: Vote for position 3
- Week 4: Vote for position 4
- Week 5: Vote for position 5
- Week 6: Vote for position 6
It is as simple that. 6 week terms. An election every week. How complicated is the election process?
- Monday: Text Alliance Announcement for nominees.
- Tuesday: Poll Alliance for votes on R4 position.
- Wednesday: Install new R4.
If we have 7 elected positions? 7 week terms.

What Do R5/R4s Do?
There are specific actions that these roles can do. Understanding these helps to understand what we are voting for…
